Iodine based disinfectants are rapidly effective against a wide range of potential infections such as staphylococcus aureus, streptococcus uberis, escherichia coli and candida albicans.
Teat dips should be enriched with softening and moisturizing emollients to promote healthy and resilient teat skin condition – the foundation for long term udder hygiene. We recommend using a teat dip that is balanced to enable release of free iodine, creating its ability to re-activate on recurring contact with organic matter. This gives the assurance of lasting hygiene beyond the initial contact and superior protection against infection for your cows.
The key to an efficient and precise application of teat dip through the ADF System is the use of a teat dip with the optimum viscosity to give first class teat coverage. Teat dips that have the correct viscosity and chemical constituents protect your cows and your ADF Milking system. Therefore we recommend you use a teat dip that delivers the results you need every time and protects your investment in your herd and your technology.
Using other teat dips that are not recommend by ADF Milking or your authorized dealer may invalidate your warranty and can be harmful to your cows and the ADF System.
