Welsh dairy farmer Rhydian Rees installed the ADF System to his 16/32 Herringbone parlour in 2014.  Rhydian had originally visited the ADF Milking exhibition stand at UK Dairy Day in Telford and had heard how cost-effective the system was. Rhydian described the installation as ‘problem-free.’ Pensarnau dairy farm are currently milking a herd of 240 cows, twice a day.

Since installing ADF Pensarnau Farm has seen huge money saving benefits due to a lower SCC. “The cows themselves find it excellent. They’re extremely comfortable and my workers like milking with it, they find ADF superb,” explains Rhydian.

Rhydian has also seen an improvement in the teat condition and a reduction of antibiotic use to his herd. “As a consequence of using ADF we have seen less mastitis cases which has led us to use less antibiotics on the herd,” says Rhydian. “The ADF System is a superior product and the complete package when looking to enhance overall herd health and milking performance.
