DipSmart automatically blends concentrated sanitisers and skin conditioners (emollients) with local potable water to create a teat dip that is customisable for every herd on every dairy farm.

Transforming Traditional Teat Dip Blending Methods

Teat dip typically comprises of two main parts, firstly, an active ingredient to control bacteria and, secondly, emollients to moisturise and protect the skin. These two main parts are combined with water and, typically, water makes up 80-85% of the resulting mixed liquid.

How DipSmart Works

With the new DipSmart system, the active/emollient ratio can be easily adjusted on-farm by the operator. This adaptability is a unique feature of DipSmart and provides an advantage over standard pre-mixed teat dip. With standard pre-mixed teat dips, addressing different needs on-farm is only possible by switching between products which can be costly, wasteful and time-consuming.
