ADF Milking system in the news and at exhibitions

New Zealand gets its first ADFmilking system

The award winning ADFmilking system is now available to farmers in New Zealand.

The system, designed to disinfect the teat immediately after milking and sanitise the cluster between cows, has already proven popular
with farmers around the world.

In March the first ADF system in the Southern hemisphere was installed in a rotary milking shed on a farm near Fielding. Milking 850 cows on his 487ha property, Stephen and Mary Barr had been looking for a solution that would improve teat spraying and help eliminate an ongoing problem with Mastitis, something Stephen Barr believes the ADF system has achieved. “The ADF system is excellent, it?s simple to use and it works. Because the cup removal is gentler even the cows like it! Since we began using it in late March this year we have just about eliminated Mastitis, something that was a major problem especially last year. I would certainly recommend the system to anyone; ADF does exactly what it says it will.”

Steve Bromley of S & J Bromley Engineering Ltd in Feilding installed the system for Stephen and Mary Barr and was impressed with the quality of the product and its easy installation. “We completed the entire Installation in four days with all the work done between milkings, this meant there were no interruptions or delays for the farmer. I was really impressed with the quality of the materials used and how easily everything went together, especially the fittings - they were perfect. Whether a farmer has a Rotary or Herringbone shed they can have the ADF system installed, its designed to fit either.”
