ADF Milking system in the news and at exhibitions

ADF is presented with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation

ADF celebrated the presentation of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise – the UK’s highest accolade for business success – with a summer garden party on Friday 6th September.

On behalf of HM The Queen, Lord-Lieutenant of West Sussex, Mrs Susan Pyper, presented ADF Milking Limited with the prestigious award for Innovation as a result of their revolutionary Automatic Dipping and Flushing system, a patented in-cluster mechanism for use in milking parlours - increasing milking routine efficiency and improving cow health.

The presentation of the award was held at ADF Milking’s head office near Chichester, West Sussex with a number of renowned guests including the local MP Nick Herbert, High Sherriff of West Sussex Patrick Burgess MBE and the Chairman of the District Council Terence Chapman alongside many local suppliers and customers. An official ceremony was held with speeches from both ADF Milking and the Lord-Lieutenant herself, before the garden party commenced complete with games and a brass band.

“All at ADF have worked with passion to achieve an outstanding product offering and our business has flourished as a result. To be singled out to receive this fantastic recognition is a first class reward,” says ADF Milking Limited’s CEO Angus Buchanan. “ADF has a genuinely unique and innovative product that automatically protects cows’ teats immediately after milking and ensures that each cow is milked with clean equipment. To be singled out to receive this fantastic recognition is a first class reward. We have an innovative product that offers value to our customers and makes milking a healthier process – also we must thank our enthusiastic customers who supported development and prototyping, and for continuing to spread the word.”

ADF Milking Limited was established in 2005 and now employs around 30 people worldwide with offices in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Germany. The product can be retro-fitted to any milking parlour and is progressively being adopted to save labour and take advantage of the health benefits for cows.

The event celebrated not only the success of ADF, but also the support of the local areas and their loyal customers throughout Britain and the world. More information about the Queen’s awards can be found at http://www.queensawards.org.uk.
